🎥 “Sarah: ready for science. Calf: ready for chaos.” 🤣

💨 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗺…

Sarah was all set to run a little smoke test in the straw pen — just to check how the air moves through the shed and make sure everything’s perfect for the calves. 🌬️

Before we started, we gave the group some very clear instructions: 🐮🐮🐮
👉 “𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺. 𝗡𝗼 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗱𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.”

And of course… one calf immediately decided the smoke was 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲.
Within seconds it was prancing, jumping, and trying to fight the smoke like a tiny rodeo bull. 🦬🔥😂

So instead of a calm airflow demonstration, we ended up with 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 — and one very proud calf who clearly thinks it won the battle. 💨🏆

We always film the whole airflow test to show the farmer how the air circulates in the shed… but let’s just say, that video’s now going straight to 𝗼𝘂𝗿 “𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲” instead. 🤣

Never underestimate the enthusiasm of a curious calf — especially during “serious” experiments. 😉
