Mixing temperature is crucial!
The right water temperature is essential for properly dissolving calf milk replacer. Getting it wrong can affect milk quality and digestibility!
đĨ Too hot? â Excessive heat can damage milk proteins and affect their nutritional quality.
âī¸ Too cold? â Fats may not disperse properly, leaving the milk poorly mixed.
đĨ Poorly dissolved milk powder â Can result in uneven nutrient distribution and make digestion less efficient. The ideal mixing temperature? â For many milk replacers, 45â50°C is the ideal range for proper dissolving.
â ī¸ Winter tip! â Water can cool down quickly in colder conditions, so keep an eye on the temperature during mixing.
